| Principle The twopart airco type has a part that radiates cool and a part that radiates heat. The parts are connected by a 2 inch umbilical cord through which cooling fluid is exchanged. The cord is at maximum 15 feet long. The cold internal part can be placed anywhere in the room. The hot part stands outside. |
| Capacity A large cooling capacity from 3 to 5,5 KW. In contrast to the exhaust-hose airco, no air is blown out of the room. |

| Cord and position
of the external part |
| Dehumidification As important as temperature is humidity. This airco dehumidifies well en therefore creates condensation water. This water is guided through the umbilical cord to the outside and there it evaporates on the hot part of the airco |
Energy consumption |
| In general This aircotype is more energy efficient and more quiet, than the type with exhaust hose. The issue is if it is possible to place the hot external part outside. |
